In Asia, Playboy TV’s 24-hour commercial free premium channel is currently available in 40 million households in Japan (Tohokushinsha Film Corporation), Korea (CIMAX Spice TV), Hong Kong (now TV), Taiwan (Chunghwa Telecom MOD), and on VOD platforms in other parts of Asia such as Mongolia and India. Playboy TV is also present in hotels, online and on mobile and wireless platforms in Asia.

On demand and online
Playboy offers on-demand channels and content with most of the major online, mobile and wireless platforms in Asia. For example, in Hong Kong, the full 24/7 channel and VOD content are available on Hutchison 3G and PCCW now TV. Playboy offers wallpaper, clips, pictures, short and long video clips customised for Hong Kong, Japan, Korea and Taiwan markets.

Social networking
Playboy TV and Playboy brands are on the major social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter and local major social sites to promote its channels/brands. Recently, a marketing campaign with Facebook and local social sites assisted with a successful exposure of the contest ‘vote for your best Playmate in Asia’. Winners attended the Playboy Club in Macau.

Local Production: 

At present, all of Playboy’s local productions are from the U.S. and Europe. In future, the company plans to make and commission programmes in Asia. Playboy movies, reality-based series, magazine shows and specials are the most popular titles. Playboy brings Brazzers, Twistys and Digital Playground movies to the programming.
