Asia’s Monarchies

Asia’s Monarchies was made by Off The Fence for Singapore’s 24-hour news channel, Channel NewsAsia, and aired earlier this year. The series focuses on five of Asia’s remaining monarchies – Japan, Cambodia, Nepal, Bhutan and Brunei. Thailand was excluded because of the country’s laws related to the royal family. Asia’s Monarchies is part of Off The Fence’s three-year bid to boost Asian subjects and content in its library. Chow says Asian topics now make up about 30% of Off The Fence’s global library.
